Grove Life | Spring 2021

Your General Manager, Jennifer M. Jolly A Jolly View

A s we enter into the second quarter of 2021, your team is focusing on growth. Growth doesn’t just happen, it is the amalgamation of awareness, intention and consistency. It takes hard work, dedicat ion, commitment and the tenacity to stick with a long range plan even in the face of criticism. It

comes from standing strong as a team through adversity while protecting and cherishing our core values.

Not only have we grown in sheer numbers - record home sales expanding all classifications of membership, meals prepared from pantry to delivery to onsite dining and an observable up- tick in outdoor activities including rounds played, courts booked and fitness programming from walking to karate - we have also grown in the most extraordinary ways - diversity of membership, innovation of our governance and adaptability of your team. I look back on the past 12 months, understanding that while I write this it is the one-year anniversary of the day Palm Beach County closed on March 17, 2020, and realize the metamorphosis that took place. We were like that tiny caterpillar, cocooned, donning our chrysalis, to keep everyone safe through Covid while not losing sight of our responsibility to service the membership and market our community. We have emerged, ever changed, having become more beautiful, more bold and driven to inspire and enable our membership to enjoy every day of their lives. But don’t take my jolly view for it, read through our pages and hear from each of your department heads on the tremendous growth they have each initiated, implemented and inspired for the benefit of you, our members. All the best!
