the past few months along with the expectation for the golf conditions. The past few months were very challenging agronomically speaking, but we made it through the rough weather and heavy play, and the course has recovered well. As the weather warms up the grass is getting greener and all the agronomic programs put in place are finally kicking in. Now, the golf course is almost back to the standards we are used to seeing it in. Now, it is time to look ahead and plan for the future. In order to remain relevant, we must always look for opportunities to improve and enhance our golf course and practice facilities. For the past few months, we have been working with Mr. Jim Fazio and his son Jimmy on golf areas we can improve. We identified a few of them including improving the practice facilities, creating a signature hole and the ingress egress of some bunkers on a few holes. While we will continue to look at all projects, this year we will focus our efforts on improving all three practice facilities, which will include enlarging the practice putting green to create more variation and different angles you can practice from. A complete rebuilding of the chipping green area to create more chipping areas and insure the green is visible from all side, this will also include enlarging the practice bunker which will improve the ability to practice different bunker shot. Finally, we plan to regrass the driving range tee. This will provide a better practice area and the opportunity to use an improved Bermuda that will increase practice from grass instead of the mats. This does not mean we will not be using the mats, but should increase the times you practice from the grass area. What’s next? The plan is to schedule the improvements so we will always have at least one practice facility available to you. If all works as planned, we should have all the practice facilities renovated and in play by November 1st. Your help and support are necessary and greatly appreciated. Should you have any questions regarding these changes or any golf course/POA related issue, please do not hesitate to reach out.
