E very summer I hear people saying, “This is the hottest summer we have ever had.” I think I may be a believer this time because summer 2019 was a scorcher. The high temperatures and record breaking humidity did not stop our Boca Grove ladies from taking the Division 1 summer title. Congrats to all! As the fall season approaches, come out and cheer on our rising ladies who moved up to South Palm Beach County Women’s Tennis Division 2A & Division 4. Back by popular demand, Kevin Anderson will be bringing his

charity tennis event, Bubbles and Doubles, to Boca Grove on December 14. If that wasn’t enough, XGLOsive tennis will be lighting up the courts on the night of December 28. Save the dates, come out and celebrate with us

PICKLEBALL Lookout for the first annual Mixed Open Pickleball Round Robin on Tuesday, October 29 at 5:30 pm. All levels are welcomed. Come out and enjoy a night out of the kitchen with old and new friends. Starting November 3, beginner and intermediate Pickleball Clinics will be offered on Sunday morning from 8:00-9:00 am. MEN’S NIGHT WITH THE PROS Want to test your skills with or against the pros? Come out on November 7 at 6:00 pm and enjoy some stiff competition, delicious pizza and beverages to boot. Even though the weather might be cooler, the competition will still be HOT! WORK OFF THE TURKEY MIXED DOUBLES We are looking for a few good men & women to compete after the big eat. Let’s burn off some Thanksgiving calories on Friday, November 29 at 9:00 am. Winner, winner, turkey dinner! MIXED DOUBLES NIGHT AT DELAIRE COUNTRY CLUB Join us as we have a little friendly battle of the clubs at Delaire Country Club onThursday, December 19 at 6 pm. It’s always great going to one of my closest friends’ club to play a lot of tennis, eat, drink and be merry! I’m looking for a partner, anyone want to play? KEVIN ANDERSON Kevin Anderson is coming back on December 14 with his charity event, “Bubbles and Doubles” to support First Serve USA and Dezzy’s Second Chance Animal Rescue. This event is an all-day affair complete with numerous tennis exhibitions, dinner and entertainment featuring our own, Brett Kurtz. Come watch world class pros in your own backyard. EXGLOSIVE Hurry, hurry, hurry and reserve your spot in one of the most popular night events at Boca Grove. Watch and listen on December 28 at 6:00 pm, as we light the night with the sound of tennis balls keeping rhythm with songs our DJ drops. Put on your tennis whites and glow on court. Adult beverages will be served.
