KIDS CORNER BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

It seems each quarter we are doing more and more with the children. Special thanks to the Family Committee and outgoing Chairman Judith Levine for setting such an exciting program. Incoming Chairman Steve Sager is full of snap, crackle and pop to push our family activities up to the next level. April will bring us Kids Camp from Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26. That weekend will usher in “Kids Karaoke” on Sunday, April 28 beginning at 4:30pm. The stage will be set for our littles but the kid in all of us are welcome to participate. This will be followed by our Family Night Buffet. In May we will focus all of our activities around Memorial Day and the pool. From the pool will have a host of activities, games, water slide and DJ to entertain and delight. Two weeks later, on Sunday, June 9, Al Salopek of Sierra’s Bees will be on hand for a fun-filled, interactive program for children and adults alike. The event is approximately two hours in length and will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Other items being vetted by the Family Committee include children’s exercise programming, golf clinics, team games such as Family Feud and Jeopardy to name a few. A new grass field, being installed by Rafael Barajas and his team in Golf Course Maintenance, will be a new venue for exciting kid and family friendly fun for all.
