W hat do Chile, Columbia, Portugal, Puerto Rico and the United States all have in common? They represent your Divas of the Dining! Five women born and raised in five different countries and cultures come together to create a dining experience that brings a sense of belonging, camaraderie and good times. Just like a member at a country club, an employee of a country club typically finds their way here because they share a common interest in service. Above all else, service is most important to these ladies. Your bevy of beauties find that common service thread in the area of food and beverage. Did you know Carla Hull of Portugal, your Food & Beverage Manager, is a secret piano player? Her and Paola Renteria, your Sports Bar Hostess, could perform a duo as Paola has a passion for singing. And where Paola is ambidextrous, Valerie Rivera, your Catering Manager, is a lefty, an identical twin and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in event and convention planning. Kaitlyn Kelly, your Dining Room Supervisor, also has a hospitality degree and is the eldest of four. Cecilia Kovago, your Grove Room Hostess and Supervisor-in- Training has three sons and loves to travel. Carla and Valerie could start a restaurant on their own with Carla as the Chef and Valerie as the Baker … both dabble with food at home. Both Cecilia and Paola would enjoy bringing their families to said restaurant, especially if it was Italian, as it fuels their love of food while Kaitlyn prefers a glass of wine at home in her jammies to going out. A self-professed nerd of fantasy movies, Carla would be interested in a little road trip with the ladies to Kaitlyn’s home town of Daytona where she became a NASCAR aficionado. Coming from five different countries, travel courses through all of their bloodlines but it’s Cecilia who will tell you it’s her favorite thing. They also share a love of the beach, sports and fitness – Carla is into paddleboard, Cecilia regularly walks the beach as part of her exercise program, Kaitlyn runs … from track at FSU to winning the recent Fort Lauderdale marathon, Paola hangs at the beach for both activity and relaxation while Valerie’s beach activity would be volleyball as she played all through school but she excels at CrossFit. Carla, Valerie, Kaitlyn, Paola and Cecilia … these are your Divas of Dining and they are looking forward to serving you! Divas of Dining Get to Know the Ladies Who Run the Dining Room.
